SewCrazyByLise –

established in 2014 by Lise Thacker

I created my sewing brand “SewCrazyByLise” back in 2014. The idea came to me when I was trying to set up an account on Etsy.

The idea to use that tag line came to me when a friend had called to chat, and she asked me what I was up to. I told her, “I’m sewing like crazy these days”. From that, SewCrazyByLise was born, and the tagline stuck.

I sew many things. Although, I tend to stay away from the fancy stuff, I leave that to the experts.

When I commit to projects, it can take several weeks to complete. I have made several commissioned pieces such as:

  • Queen size quilts, and memory quilts (people provide me their favorite t-shirts, and it becomes a nice comfortable throw of their favorite memories)
  • Large Christmas gift bags and matching Christmas stockings

I also offer services such as the following:

  • Mending
  • Hemming
  • Zipper replacements
  • Basic machine embroidery
  • Home décor
  • Teaching school aged children basic sewing
  • Quilting (e.g., baby quilts, throws)
